Pisces New Moon Gathering

i need to talk about my friend. i’ve been really concerned about her. she’s been in a pretty toxic home situation—like, full-on emotional neglect, constant belittling, being forced to do all the housework while her family just lounges around.

i’ve tried to tell her she deserves better, that she should get out, but she just smiles and says, “it’s okay, i know they have good in them.”

okay… but do they?

she’s also been talking to animals. a lot. i mean, i get it, i talk to my dog, too. but she actually believes they understand her. like, she has formed a full social circle made up of birds, mice (and probably some squirrels.)
and honestly? i respect it. because where are the humans in her life?

she has no real support system outside of a nice old lady who seemed to have appeared out of nowhere and gave her some designer clothes, and even a new car!

at this point, i thought, “okay, maybe she’s getting the help she needs.”
but then i found out she met a guy at a party… and now she thinks they’re soulmates.

they didn’t even have a full conversation. they just made eye contact, twirled around a few times, and suddenly she’s convinced they were destined to be together. and then....she panicked and ran away.

which, honestly? i've been there. i get it.

but instead of, i don’t know, exchanging numbers or leaving any form of identifying information, she left behind a shoe.

and this is when i realized…

oh.

she’s a pisces.

it all makes sense now.

because, of course, my friends, cinderella is just waiting for the universe to figure it out for her. and it will. somehow, it always does. meanwhile, i’m out here budgeting, setting calendar reminders, tracking my daily steps like an absolute fool.
