Join the Chicago Chapter on March 15 (the Ides of March) for our annual conference. This year, we will explore the statistical and analytic issues involved in the Criminal Justice System. Learn how technology, social media, and other information sources can assist in the detection of crime; how data can be collected and coded so that predictive analytics and standard statistical methods can be used to advise sentencing recommendations and recidivism rates; and ongoing studies and issues in crime and forensic science. With speakers from the Chicago Police Department, Northwestern University, the Illinois Sentencing Policy Advisory Board, and UChicago Crime Labs, it is sure to be a fascinating look into the analytics of our criminal justice system.
