Journaling is a great tool for increasing our self-awareness and wellbeing at the same time. Each meeting we will have an interesting topic on the mystery of the inner life and simply have fun getting together!

Using our power of intention, we will start this casual meeting by wishing well for each other's life and journey with positive thoughts and kindness.

An example is: "May you be happy. May you be healthy. May you live in safety. May you live your life with ease." (This is sometimes called the Lovingkindness meditation.)

Then, we will have a writing prompt to journal about from the book "Life's Companion: Journal Writing as a Spiritual Quest" by Christina Baldwin. An example of a prompt is: "What stops you from living life in the present more often?" or "Write down one thing you will forgive yourself for today."

We can then share and discuss, talk about anything, or even work quietly! We know what it's like to be socially anxious, and no one will ever be pressured to share.

Please bring your own journal, but if you forget, there will be some paper and pens on hand. We meet at Inner Smile, 550 Main Street Rear, blue carriage house, Harmony PA 16037, behind Neff Haus Ice Cream. Parking is available in a public lot across the street from Neff Haus. You're welcome to bring your own beverage into Inner Smile. Drinks such a bottle of water are available for sale at Neff Haus during our meeting. There is also an accessible restroom in Inner Smile. The meeting is free.
