Arrive Sandy @ 3:50 pm
Wait half hour and take the 4:30 pm SAM back to Gresham.

We can also opt to stay in Sandy longer and sample some local food and/or drink before catching the SAM back to Gresham @ 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm, etc...

If you want to drive to Sandy instead of taking the SAM you can meet us at the Sandy Transit Center for departing @ 9:25 am

Updated the map marker to pinpoint the exact spot where we can group before boarding the SAM (https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=45.503005,-122.42651&hl=en&ll=45.502925,-122.42652&spn=0.00197,0.001929&sll=45.50292,-122.426519&sspn=0.00099,0.000964&t=h&mra=mift&mrsp=0&sz=20&z=19)

There is a Park & Ride just across the street from the meeting point where you can park your cars and/or bikes for the day.

If your going to meet us in Sandy keep in mind there is minimal parking at Sandy Transit, you will likely need to park at one of the nearby malls and walk over, here's a map for the meet up point in Sandy (https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=45.396766,-122.258563&hl=en&sll=45.396616,-122.258692&sspn=0.001396,0.001929&t=h&mra=mift&mrsp=0&sz=19&z=19)

IMPORTANT: Times listed are actual departure times and they go by their clock NOT your clock, so be EARLY!!

Round trip costs for each attendee: SAM to Sandy is $1, then the shuttle from sandy to the lodge is $2 each way, then SAM to Gresham is another $1. So your total transportation cost for the complete round trip is just $6.00.***Buses do not make change so bring dollar bills and/or coins! There is no charge to visit the lodge unless you want to stay overnight in one of their spendy rooms.

All ages welcome!

Timberline Lodge is a historic landmark at 6,000ft up the side of the volcano just below the tree line with lots of interesting stuff to see on the inside, sort of like a museum. They have various cozy and leisurely spaces for visiting, gaming, snuggling by the fire etc. As well as a variety of atmospheres for enjoying food, drink, scenery viewing, etc. We will typically have 2 to 4 hours between arrival and the next departure to visit the lodge. We can also take a ride up the Magic Mile chair lift to 7,000ft for the most amazing views of the Cascade range and surrounding areas if we are dressed properly and weather permitting [$15 per adult, $9 Juniors (7-14) and Seniors (65-70)] We may be able to get a group discount if our group is big enough?
