HOW
You won't become a carpenter by just fixing the kitchen sink. But it's a start. And now's your chance to start learning the fine arts of programming.
The workshop will be based on Zed Shaw's wonderful Learn Ruby The Hard Way (http://ruby.learncodethehardway.org/) and we'll go through the entire book, covering everything from easy things like setting up your environment to the nitty gritty bits like setting up a website.
Each workshop will consist of 8-9 excersises, from the book (http://ruby.learncodethehardway.org/book/)
FOR WHO
It's for those that's been wanting to look into programming, but been procrastinating - cause learning is much more fun when you do it with others.
As Zed says: "It assumes absolutely no prior programming knowledge and will guide you carefully and slowly through the learning process".
The workshops are however gonna be fast-paced, so ambition and determination is required if you want to fully benefit - and there should be plenty of others to co-work with in the learning process.
Also, good mathematical skills and a basic understanding of how a computer looks under the hood, can be a benefit.
So if you're already a programmer and just wanna learn a new language.
Or you're a designer and wanna see how the geeks get creative in their own space, with lines like:

Or maybe you're an entrepreneur looking for a technical co-founder for your startup. You know business development like the back of your hand but wanna earn some street cred by understanding the product development proces better.
Either way, now is the time to sign up.
BY WHO
Bjarke (https://twitter.com/#!/walling) and Navid (https://twitter.com/#!/nsamandari) - two geeky danish entrepreneurs that wanna give back to the community that has been so kind to them.
WHAT THIS IS NOT
This isn't a computer science graduate program, boiled down into 6x 2-hour sessions. And unless you're e-mazing you most likely won't be able to land a job as a software developer after the course :-)
