Kent Countryside Hike through the Eynsford, Shoreham & Otford Valley & Villages. Also including the Darent Valley Path, Eynsford Viaduct, Lullingstone Castle, , Solar Sysytem monument.
Distance Approx 7 MILES.
Option to leave walk at 4 miles at Shoreham Station.
Wear suitable footwear for outdoor terrain.

Wet weather policy. If the forecast is for heavy rain, the event will be cancelled with 1.5hrs notice.
Otherwise, walkers are to bring all necessary footwear, protective clothes, water, food etc. for the duration of the walk.
GENERAL. Walking can be very arduous, some walks more than others. A good level of fitness is often required to maintain a reasonable pace over an extended period and over mixed terrain. Participation is your own choice, at your own risk and you are responsible for your own safety. Walking in the countryside will often involve negotiating mud, tree roots, uneven surfaces animal burrows, roads, mixed terrain and weather conditions. There may be crossing of busy roads. Ensure that you are clothed and equipped correctly for changing weather conditions.
Anybody that becomes separated from the main group will need to make their own arrangements for getting back to the start. Walk leaders are volunteers and not professional guides. Please ensure that you are fit and healthy enough to do the walk and make sure you carry with you any medication that you may need on the walk as well as a simple first aid kit. No responsibility will be accepted in the event of an accident/injury or illness to a participant however caused. Please follow the countryside code.
PHOTOGRAPHS. Be aware that when taking photographs, a responsible attitude should be taken with regard to the wishes of some people who, for their own personal reasons, do not want to have their photographs taken and or, published on any social media.
RSVP. Any participant who has not registered with a RSVP on the website will not be permitted on the walk. By attending this walk, you agree to all of the above, and if you change your mind, please change your RSVP.
