NYC Quack and Hack: A Better Search Engine for Programmers

Details
Welcome to another NYC Quack & Hack – an open source event to improve DuckDuckGo's results for developer-related searches. Our open source platform DuckDuckHack (http://duckduckhack.com/) enables any developer (novices and experts alike) to create Instant Answers that help you find what you're looking for in few or zero clicks. For example, searching for regex cheat sheet (https://duckduckgo.com/?q=regex+cheat+sheet&ia=cheatsheet)or python code editor (https://duckduckgo.com/?q=python+scratchpad&ia=editor), we can show you exactly what you're looking for--above any ads or links--all thanks to DuckDuckHack contributors.
The recent Programming Mission (https://forum.duckduckhack.com/t/duckduckhack-programming-mission-overview/53) has shifted focus on creating IAs for CSS, JavaScript, Perl, Python, and Swift. Although this is the focus right now, there are still other things to be created as well. Please bring your laptop and be ready to learn and code. Learn more about this on the new DDG forum (https://duck.co/blog/post/321/duckduckhack-forum-announcement). There will also be refreshments.
This is a great opportunity to meet other fellow DDG contributors in the NYC area, to start contributing to the project and learn new things along the way (and maybe get some free DDG swag!)
You can find more info on the official DuckDuckGo blog (https://duck.co/blog/post/191/our-first-ever-global-quack-hack-save-the-date-for-aug-29th)
