Dear makers,
it's time now to meet and share around 3D printing. You all have expectations, and we'll try hard to match them.
Printers
From what I read when you join, most of you want to see 3D printers in action: you will. I'm happy to unveil that you will see :
Cube v2 Up! Plus Up! Mini iRapid Orca Prusa i3 (to be confirmed) Objects
Then some of you would like to see, touch, feel what 3D printed pieces look like: again I'll have some, but please don't hesitate to come with your own stuff (made or bought) and be prepared to show, share, that will be invaluable to others.
Software
The software is not to forget, sure. We intend to have some room for a couple of laptops. Again we have secured demonstrations for at least :
Sketchup, Blender Btw a Rhino goddess, a SolidWorks guru etc. would be more than welcome to demonstrate what it takes to create a simple piece out of the blue, or to adapt/modify a piece, etc.
Don't be shy, come expose your skills to your fellow co-makers.
Talks
As of the talks, experts of the field will be our guest stars (to be disclosed later)
Venue will also be disclosed as soon as it will be secured.
