Abstract: Clojure's data-first approach is key to understanding how it reduces system complexity. With a clean demarcation between code and data, language-agnostic principles can be distilled. In this talk, we will discuss those principles and their applicability in other programming languages. Consequently, this talk is friendly to developers from all horizons.

Bio: Yehonathan Sharvit is passionate about making interesting things easy to understand. Case in point, he wrote Klipse, a plugin for embedding interactive code snippets in tech blogs. His own blog showcases a writing that is educational and thought-provoking at the same time. He is the author of Data-Oriented programming, published by Manning.
