Central London – Covent Garden, St Giles, & Soho Composition & Photoshoot

The energetic streets of Covent Garden, St Giles, and Soho feature a variety of photographic options for composition and photoshoots as well as for finding new options for dining, nightlife, and shopping. Covent Garden Piazza, Seven Dials, and Soho’s Dean, Frith, Greek, and Old Compton Street are the epicentre of activity day and night, so you can always find something to do, to photograph or just watch.

So why not join us for an exciting cultural photo walk through these infamous streets? Learn the art of composition while exploring the area's history, sights, and the best places to eat, drink, and be merry. This event is perfect for photographers, London enthusiasts, and anyone who wants to explore London with all their senses and connect with it both physically and digitally through the lens.
An experienced photographer and London expert will lead you along a route with plenty of photographic stops to learn and practice the art of composition and photoshoots. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the area's history, architecture, fun facts, and exciting places to visit.
Whether you are a beginner looking to improve your photography skills and knowledge of London or an experienced photographer seeking inspiration, this event promises to be a delightful blend of exploration and creativity. Remember to bring your camera and enthusiasm as we take you on a visual journey through London's hidden gems and famous landmarks while getting you comfortable in front of and behind the camera.
Notes
· The distance will be around 3 km and take about 2 hours, with a debrief break at the end.
· Phone cameras or compact cameras are ideal as they are light and indiscreet but bring along he camera that you feel most comfortable with.
· We will have a few creative exercises along the way, which could require you to photograph others in the group and be photographed. We hope you can participate in these sessions, but we ask you not to share them on social media, etc, unless you have permission from those in the photograph.
· You do these at your own risk, and you may be asked to sign a disclaimer form.

This is one of 5 pilot routes across London to assess the value to the group and to get evaluations on what was good and recommendations for improvements. As such, these will be free, but if you do enjoy them, a contribution would be appreciated on departure.
