LogicalOutcomes has launched SIS, the open source evaluation platform that Gillian presented to the evaluation café a few months ago. We have signed up our first clients, and want to work with the evaluation community to develop shared tools for the human service sector in Canada. We are hoping that the platform will be used by evaluators for data collection and analysis in their own projects.

SIS includes tools for building an evaluation plan and logic model, data collection instruments, tools for analysis and data visualization, an indicator registry and a clinical notetaking application. Some of them are free for anyone to use. The platform provides secure data storage hosted on Canadian or European servers. It will be officially GDPR compliant in a couple of months (GDPR is the new European Union privacy regulation).

At the evaluation café, Gillian Kerr will demonstrate SIS and discuss how it can be customized for evaluators.
