iPhonography! The Art of Mobile Photography

We've got an exciting meetup coming up this Tuesday focused entirely on the rough-and-tumble world of iPhonography! It's a veritable cornucopia of photographers and developers!

Sion Fullana is a professional photographer, journalist and filmmaker living in New York City. New York City has provided an endless source of inspiration for Fullana’s street photography, as he captures the raw reality of the city and its people. Sion Fullana has been featured in photography blogs and magazines, such as Time Out NY, Photocritic.org, American Photo Magazine and Wink-Magazine. Top Developers will show us their cool new apps:

Jonathan Purow is the Principal of The Dapper Appers, LLC, a start-up iphone and Android app company. Jon developed a fun app where users can upload photos and then throw darts at them for high scores and to share with friends.

Hilary Araujo, Vice President of Marketing for The Tiffen Company, has been associated with the still imaging, motion picture and broadcast markets for more than thirty years, starting as a commercial photographer in New York City, before becoming marketing manager at other well-respected photographic companies, before his current position at Tiffen. Over the past six years at Tiffen, Araujo has been responsible for its marketing efforts, show events, website transition and has been directly involved with Tiffen Dfx creative filter effects software and most recently, its iPhone and and iPad apps. Over the years, Araujo has also contributed articles to various industry trade and fan publications, as well as acting as spokesperson for the company to the media and at professional associations.

Junu Yangis a Designer-Of-All-Trades with a focus on user experience and interaction design. I work on user interfaces, product strategy and visual design by day and work on new product ideas by night. I have a background in industrial design and have worked on projects involving branding, furniture, product design and web design. PicTag is a project between myself and Lawrence Wang (who is the lead developer). We're interested in mobile game design’s potential to transform our real-world everyday activities into a more fun and rewarding experience.
