Generative Design for AEC: Overview + Case Studies

In this session Matthew Spremulli (Engagement Manager from the Autodesk Technology Centers and Sessional Faculty at University of Toronto) will provide an overview of Generative Design technologies and approaches that are being adopted in the AEC industries.

Matthew will introduce Generative Design through both a brief history and numerous experimental applications being explored by Autodesk Research and Residents of the Autodesk Technology Centers: https://www.autodesk.com/technology-centers

Finally, Matthew will share information about Generative Design for AEC technology from Autodesk, and how audience members could be supported with their experiments in the Autodesk Technology Centers.

Attendees do not need to bring anything specific to the session - as it will be more of an overview presentation. Attendees should have access to MURAL https://www.mural.co/ for a possible interactive brainstorm session.
