Update 15/8: I'm sorry to say that all 20 burgers are now gone, so sadly no more burgers but I hope to see most of you at the event despite of the lack of burger. Burgers and beer will be available for charge, in case you are still hungry and thirsty and did not manage to get any of the first 20 seats.

Hello everyone,

Preparations and planning are done, and it is therefore our pleasure to invite you all to OpenStack Forum #4 in Oslo on the 15:th of September at 13:00!

Please note that this time, free burgers will only be provided for the first 20 to register (if you specifically let us know that you want a burger). Speakers this time are

• Andreas and Martin from includeos.org who will talk about deploying unikernel VMs in OpenStack environments.

• Arnulf Heimsbakk and Sverre Stoltenberg from meteorologisk institutt with extensive experience of running OpenStack in production, and they will share their knowledge and experience with you and...

• Daniel Byström, who will just walk you through some news from Dell and what we're doing in the OpenStack space.

14:00 IncludeOS on OpenStack: Deploying, testing and running unikernels in the cloud 30 Min

Beskrivning: IncludeOS is the leanest possible unikernel OS written completely from scratch in C++. In this talk we give an overview of how we build, deploy and manage tiny (as in 1-2 MB) IncludeOS instances in OpenStack. For more information, please go to http://www.includeos.org .
Talare: Andreas Åkesson is leading the design and implementation TCP in IncludeOS as well as the upcoming framework for developing REST API's on top of the OS. He holds BSc in Computer science from HiOA and as several years of industrial programming experience. Andreas was the third developer to join IncludeOS and as such is one of the main contributors to the project.

Beskrivning: Dell jobbar kontinuerligt med partners som Mirantis, SUSE och Red Hat før att ta fram kvalitetssækrade referensarkitekturer før kunder som snabbt och enkelt vill komma igång med OpenStack. Daniel går øversiktligt igenom vad som finns, samt går æven in på nyaste medlemmen i ref. arch. familjen kallad OpenStack mini som tagits fram i næra samarbete med Red Hat Sverige.
Talare: Daniel Byström: Daniel, med 20 års erfarenhet av teknik (minst, beroende på definitionen av erfarenhet och teknik), ær en teknikgeneralist med bakgrund inom storage och linux. Ett intresse som han till fullo lever på Dell ær OpenStack och han ær också medgrundare av OpenStack Forum i Oslo. Utøver teknik i allmænhet och OpenStack i synnerhet ær Daniel svensk och gillar inte grønsaker.

Beskrivning: Meteorologisk Institutt har brukt OpenStack i to år for utvikling og et halv år for produksjon. Vi ønsker presentere våre løsninger og dele vår erfaring.

Talare: Arnulf Heimsbakk: Senior sysadmin med 10 års fartstid i Meteorologisk Institutt. Tidligere jobbet 8 år som utvikler ved Andøya Rakettskytefelt. Teamleder for teamet som har ansvar for OpenStack.

Sverre Stoltenberg: Senior sysadmin med 2 år i Meteorologisk Institutt. Tidligere jobbet 13 år som Senior sysadmin i Opera Software. Har satt opp 4-5 openstack og opennebula, siden 2012, tre i produksjon.
