Where about Herter Park does this festival take place?

It will take place in the park area right across WBPX-TV building (the other side of Soldiers Field Road). The smaller parking lot is closer but probably it will be full by the time we try to get there. The larger parking lot (opposite of Day's Hotel), which can take about 150 cars is only about a 7 min. walk through the park. There will be two events in the same park on Sunday. The other event is closer to the large parking lot, so make sure you come to the right one. I am not so sure about public transport: Harvard square is about a 20-25 min walk, I think. Any bus? You can come with your or city bike since it is on the bike path along the Charles River.

I will be near the stage/performance area with a meetup sign. I try to spread blue picnic rug, if there will be enough space to do that as a marker. It starts 12 pm but I cannot be there before 12:30 pm.

Details:

• 12 pm Official opening – performance of the Brazilian National by a children’s chorus and Independence Anthems by Claudia Andrea
• Festival Opening Parade led by Marcus Santos and Bloco AfroBrazil, La Piñata and OPENAIR Circus
• Children’s activities (face painting, drawing, children's play, and pony rides)
• Boston Museum of Science & New England Aquarium
• Ethnic food, Information and Service Stands
• Live Performances: (starts 1 pm)
