Hacking for Good Nights

Let's get our hacker hats on for two upcoming app contests. Whether you know how to code or not, we need your great thinking noggins to make the next apps for good for microsoft and android.

Contest 1: Applications for Good for Windows 8 (http://www.microsoft.com/about/corporatecitizenship/en-us/nonprofits/Win8App.aspx): Deadline Feb 28th: Build any app for good for the windows 8 platform

Contest 2: Apps to Empower for Android (http://appstoempower.org/): Deadline April 30th: Build an android app for good, winners get pre-loaded on thousands of Aakash (http://venturebeat.com/2012/11/28/india-aakash2-united-nations/) tablets. Sample Aaakash tablet available for testing!

There is also another event at Box Jelly, but they are reserving some meeting space for us. Should be an eventful night!
