Rasa User Group NYC Meetup #2

Hello Rasa enthusiasts,

It's about time to have a second Rasa User Group NYC meetup! Let's meet early next year to talk about the Rasa projects, share ideas and chat about the expectations for the conversational AI in the year 2019!

Agenda:

7:00pm - 7:10pm Welcome and the overview on what's new to Rasa, by Justina Petraityte, developer advocate at Rasa

7:10pm - 7:25pm Improving RASA NLU Training Using Machine Learning Interpretability Techniques by Zvi Topol CEO/Data Scientist at MuyVentive, LLC

This talk will present a few machine learning interpretability techniques that can be used by developers to improve training of their RASA NLU models.

7:30pm - 8:00pm Using RASA to power a McDonald's Voicebot, by Nathan Stratton, the CTO and founder of Vocinity

Using RASA technology integrated with Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech to create a voice customer service bot (voicebot) that can be used to have a conversation with your local McDonald's.
And, as chatbot development can be time-consuming, presenting some sample tools to make things easier.

After the talks we will have some time for networking and pizza provided by our host - Samsung NEXT.

When: 31st Jan 2019, doors open 6:30pm EST, talks start at 7pm EST.
