Veronika Schmid is an architect and partner in Gill Schmid Design. She is also a pioneer in the world of 3D printing, pushing the limits of the technology not just in engineering and architecture, but also in contemporary art and design. She has worked with a range of artists and designers from scultpor Frank Stella to milliner Stephen Jones.
We will hear from Veronika how 3D printing is being used to prototype and realize large-scale, prominent works of art, and what the future holds for this exciting technology.
Also joining us will be Manuela Seve and Renata Thome from Alpha'a (https://www.alphaainc.com/) to talk about how 3D printing aligns with their mission to democratize the art world and make the ownership of artwork more accessible.
