Do you ever get frustrated about all those hard to spell, toxic additives listed in 'conventional' cleaning and personal care products? I mean, WTF???!
Join the Women's Healthy Environments Network monthly Wannabe Toxic Free (WTF) Meetup here in Toronto, where we'll get down to the naked truth about the toxic chemicals we all encounter in our daily lives, and what actions we can take to reduce exposure and lighten the load for mama earth.

Speakers
Dr. Cyndi Gilbert is a naturopathic doctor and plant whisperer. Her medical practice in Toronto is focused on women’s health and mental health. She is the author of The Essential Guide to Women’s Herbal Medicine (http://www.amazon.com/dp/0778805069) and a member of the teaching faculty of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
Muhannad Malas coordinates Environmental Defence’s Toxics program, and in previous roles he helped develop and implement disease prevention and environmental health policies in Ontario’s Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and in the City of Toronto. Muhannah has a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Medical Anthropology, and completed a Master of Public health where he studied epidemiology and researched evidence-based policy development.
Heather Marshall investigates environmental issues and engages neighbourhoods across Toronto to bring about local solutions as Campaign Director at Toronto Environmental Alliance. Heather leads campaigns to victory on a wide range of issues including air quality, water pollution, toxics, energy and waste. Heather is a University of Toronto alumni with an M.Ed in Adult Education and Community Development and a B.Sc Honours Degree in Environmental Science. She has worked as a researcher in the health and environment fields with positions at Cancer Care Ontario, Health Canada, Waste-Econ, and the UofT Soil Erosion Lab.

These events will feature inspiring talks by leading professionals in the fields of health, environment and innovation - all of whom are passionate about health promotion and disease prevention. You’ll connect with others who want to live well and learn how to take action on the issues in your community. All are welcome!
