Most countries have an 8 hour day / 40 hour week enshrined in law. But why? The tech industry is famous for encouraging people to work longer hours. Are they liberating us from some arbitrary government limit or forgetting previous lessons learned?

Speaker: Tom Isaacson is a Senior Software Engineer at Navico. Born in the UK, Tom has worked with companies like Sony, Siemens, Navman, NextWindow and more recently at Navico, the world’s largest marine electronics company with 1,500 employees.
