usability saves lives
Presented by Keith Doyle (@keithdoyle (http://twitter.com/keithdoyle)) User Experience Architect, Navopia
What is usability? How do I do it? Why should I care?
Poor system usability has killed people, including a famous singer! Even if your system is unlikely to have lethal capabilities, you probably want it to be used correctly, and you probably don’t want people to give up part way through. Keith will take a tour of some interesting usability issues, some of the tools and techniques which can be used to improve usability, and some of the issues when implementing usability in organisations and in projects.
