This is a free festival featuring 18 choirs from Milton Keynes and beyond. Choirs include: The Birmingham Town Hall Gospel Choir; Pop Chorus (from Suffolk); Polymnia; MK Acapella; MK Youth Choir; Milton Keynes Community Choir; Chanteuses; Hart and Soul Community Choir and many more.

The festival will also feature the first public performance,'A Hymn's Review' of one of the ten songs from 'Forever?' a newly commissioned piece to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the hymn 'Amazing Grace' , written in 1773 by the Rev John Newton from nearby Olney. The score for 'Forever?' has been composed by leading baritone and composer Roderick Williams and the award-winning poet Rommi Smith has written the libretto. The song will be performed at 6pm by 250 voices.

The festival will start at 12:45pm and the finale is expected to finish at 9:15pm approximately.

Food and drinks will be available to purchase from a number of food vendors in the amphitheatre. Alcohol will not be sold.

Come along for any or all of the session. I'll be there the whole time. Bring something to sit on and a picnic. I'll be sitting by the Polymnia Choir group so we can find a place to sit next to them. We wear purple (Cadbury colour!) polo shirts with Polymnia written on, so I should be easy to find.
