Social Media Startup Special
Details
The meeting this month is dedicated to two local startups building social media applications: CrowdStitch and SocialRadar. Come learn about the work of these startups and in the process start thinking about the growing future of Social Media.
CrowdStitch
CrowdStitch is a local startup launching a platform that enables an organizer of any size event to control their own social media network live at their event and gain all the benefits of controlling their own network including revenue, demographics, and analytics. We'll be discussing social media as it relates to real world events, how attendees, stakeholders, and businesses can benefit from their own social network, and how our platform drives these initiatives.
SocialRadar
SocialRadar gives you real-time information about the people around you.
When you walk into a room, a restaurant, a conference or a concert - SocialRadar tells you:
• Who is there
• How you are connected to them
• What they have been up
And it does so while giving you full control over your privacy – be public, anonymous, or even invisible. It works by combining your phone’s location info with the feeds from your social networks (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Foursquare, Instagram, Google+). SocialRadar is available for the iPhone and soon for Android and Google Glass devices.
