Oxford Ranch Camping Weekend

• What we'll do
We will have a fun weekend of camping with plenty of laughter. This is a new venue for our group, so we don't really know what to expect. The privately-owned campground has restrooms with showers, but I'm not sure how close to our camping area they'll be. Our tent sites won't have running water, so plan accordingly. Also, plan to bring everything you will need for a weekend of primitive camping. The photos look like our cars will be nearby, so you shouldn't have to lug your gear over any significant distance.

If you have any questions about the trip, feel free to ask. If you have questions about the campground, feel free to call them and ask. And as always, don't RSVP unless you plan to go. If your attendance plans change, please update your RSVP. No one likes a no-show.

This campground is relatively close to Enchanted Rock, so I'm sure some people will plan to hike there on Saturday. Also, if you have a favorite board game to play, bring it.

• What to bring

Bring everything you need for a weekend of camping: gear, food, water, a good attitude. After all, our group isn't called Austin Grumpy Campers! Plan to bring firewood if we don't have a burn ban. The campground sells firewood, but I'm not sure how much is available.

•Important to know
The cost of admission has changed since the photo above. The cost for admission is now $8 per person per night. Each camper will pay their admission fee directly to the campground. As shown above, the campground does not accept credit cards so plan accordingly.
