Pace Bend Park Camping Trip

Details
Activities include boating, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, sailing, swimming & horseback riding. Pace Bend does not take reservations for primitive camping. I will arrive Friday around 4 and try to grab a spot on Mudd Cove, on the east side of the peninsula. (See park map) Please note that "Primitive" at this park only means unimproved with no water or electricity. This is still car camping. I will be staying 2 nights. Plan on bringing your own food and anything you would like to share. Please bring fire wood.
CAMPSITE FEE: $15/Vehicle per night, payable at the gate upon arrival. Camping fees are per vehicle, which is another excellent reason to carpool. There is a $5 fee per camper to help curve the no-shows for this camping site. There is NO refunds for this trip.
SHOWERS/TOILETS: Waterless toilets are available.
DOG FRIENDLY: Yes. All pets must be kept under the owner's direct control and attached to a person or fixed object at all times by a leash not to exceed six feet in length, and shall not be left unattended or constitute a nuisance. Noisy, vicious, or dangerous animals are not permitted, as determined on site by park staff. Please read our policy on camping with dogs.
BOATING: The park features two boat ramps. Canoes and kayaks can launch on beaches not designated for swimming.
RV CAMPING: No.
OTHER RULES: Glass containers and fireworks are prohibited.
Remember to change your RSVP if you decide not to attend. No one likes a no-show!
