In this session, the speaker will list various ways in which the performance of a single or a sequence of MapReduce jobs can be improved. The techniques used will leverage static/dynamic Hadoop configuration parameters, restructuring input data (InputFormat) and rec-architecture/code changes to the program. Sometimes, performance gains could be in orders of magnitude.
