Gib Devs January Meetup: Flutter

Hi guys!
After the huge success of our last meetup we want to announce our next one on January 24th at 6pm. We decided to follow the pattern 4x4 - The 4th day of the 4th week i.e. the fourth Thursday of each month. So you can write it down in your calendar.

This meetup will take place at The Ivy pub in Ocean Village where João Soares, Development Manager at William Hill, will give us an introduction to Flutter. Flutter is a new native mobile development framework made by Google. In this talk he will start showing the key differences with it's largest competitor, React Native, and then will explain how similar Dart is to Javascript and easy to pick up. Afterwards he will move to live coding. Starting with a sample new project app code and then writing a simple To-do app from scratch.

18:15 - Flutter presentation by João Soares
19:15 - Follow up of presentation and socializing with more beer
20:00 - Close up
