GibDevs July Meetup: Humanoids with Blender/Unity and Cyber Security

Hi guys!
We are pleased to announce our July GibDevs meetup. NEW LOCATION: This time the meetup will take place on LORD NELSON pub at Casemates Square on Thursday July 25th at 6pm.

The first talk - "Rigging a humanoid with Blender and Unity" In this talk Matthew Broadhead will introduce us his 3D body scanning work. Matthew, Java / Javascript enthusiast, will use Blender and Unity framework as main tools.

Second talk - "IDOR and SSRF" by Peter Bassil.
Peter will show us how an attacker can use IDOR (Insecure Direct Object Reference) and SSRF (Server-Side Request Forgery) vulnerabilities to overwhelm and take over the server that hosts the application. Walking us through how the hacker looks at a web application and identifies the weaknesses, and then how the code fails in a way to take over the platform. Peter has been a security researcher for 26 years working for Hedgehog and Bugcrowd and previously at Microsoft and Vodafone.

How to alter your approach to coding to mitigate these threats.
Where to find the OWASP resources that will help you in your day job.
