Dear Impact Aficionados,

We’re excited to announce the launch of NEIII's Fellowship program, which will convene for our first meeting on Tue. June 16 through a virtual conversation with potential Fellowship participants!

As a reminder, the Fellowship is a program designed to advance careers or businesses in the impact investing sector for entrepreneurs, investors and professionals. NEIII hopes to pair veterans in the impact investing space with those who aspire to enter the sector, to share knowledge, collaborate in goal setting, and evolve through a supportive partnership. Rather than launching our own formal mentorship program, NEIII will build our Fellowship program around regular social / educational gatherings and give participants access to area resources that provide more structured content.

To date, about 40 potential Fellows have signed up for our program or indicated interest. We have several openings for Advisors (see details here: https://www.neiii.org/thefellowship) who help to shape the next wave of impact investing practitioners. If you are interested in participating as an Advisor or Associate, please complete our Fellowship inquiry form (at the bottom of the Fellowship webpage). As part of our kick-off, potential Fellowship participants will hear from representatives of three New England impact-oriented organizations that offer structured mentorship opportunities for impact-focused investors, entrepreneurs, and future professionals (students):

Carl Valenstein (https://www.morganlewis.com/bios/carlvalenstein), Partner at Morgan Lewis (our official Fellowship sponsor), who will share from his extensive experience with impact investing deals and present on how attorneys can best serve the impact space.

Faina Rozental (https://www.linkedin.com/in/faina-rozental-b2429926/), Equity Research Analyst at Eventide Asset Management and an NEIII Program Team member, who will speak to how professionals can break into the sector. Faina has worked in impact investing at both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, and has an MBA from MIT Sloan.
