[Kaggle Series] Building a Movie Recommender

Our next Kaggle session will be a demo of how to build a move recommender. The goal is threefold:

• To explain these models and evaluation procedures in an intuitive manner
• To provide model implementations in Python
• To make you curious to learn more about recommendation systems.

The session will be led by Vlad. Vlad is a Data Scientist @ Microsoft. Being born and raised in Belarus, early on Vlad got very passionate about math. Later, he moved to Canada to continue his math studies. Now he enjoys solving complex problems while working in a team of smart and supportive people.
