DrupalCon India Meetup! Megan visits Mumbai

DrupalCon is coming to India in 2016.

Megan Sanicki, https://www.drupal.org/u/megansanicki, Associate Director at Drupal Association, is visiting Mumbai between January 14-18. While the main purpose of her trip is to visit the sites that have been identified in the feasibility study conducted in October and November this year, it is important that she also meets with the Drupal community in Mumbai. Mumbai is our choice for hosting the greatest gathering of Drupalers from around the world. It is up to all of us to help convince the Drupal Association that Mumbai is without any doubt the best choice for a DrupalCon in India.

This brunch meetup is planned to introduce Megan to the community in the Mumbai region, the kind of work being done here and to impress upon her and Drupal Association why we all think Mumbai is the best choice for DrupalCon India in 2016.

11:00am: Event starts

• Tea and networking
• Introducing the Drupal Community

11:30am: Presentation by Megan & QA

12:30pm - 1:30pm: Presentations by Drupal leaders from Mumbai and Pune

1:30pm - 2:00pm: Lunch & Networking

2:00pm - 4:00pm: Discussion on topics of interest collated from the Drupal community.

4:00pm - Break for tea, and wrap up.

Lunch will be an Indian thali, catered by IIT Bombay.
