Drupal Mumbai Monthly Meetup - May

Dear All,

DrupalCon Asia was awesome, Thanks to all the community members who helped in making DrupalCon Asia a huge success.

We planning a meetup to plan and talk about activities in Drupal Mumbai. We invite all community member to come and participate in this meeting. We are also calling all representatives from Drupal organization to participate in this meeting.

Discussion Areas :

• Drupal 8 training - Drupal Mumbai is planning to start Drupal 8 training sessions every month. We are looking for volunteers who can help us here.

• Monthly Code Sprint - We are forming a new sprint team which will conduct code sprint in Drupal Mumbai community every month. We will discuss more details in the meeting.

• Knowledge Session : Discuss the session topics for Drupal Mumbai Knowledge sessions / Workshop

• Initiatives : Discuss on Key Drupal community initiatives from different regional community.

• Monthly Meetups - We will keep monthly meetup on third Saturday of every month. Structure of this meetup will be to interact with community members, share community updates from Drupal Mumbai Community, Indian Drupal Community and Global Drupal Community.

Last but most important -

• Leadership Board - Drupal Mumbai is looking to induct members to leadership board who will be the official flag bearers and will be meeting on monthly basis to discuss and carry out Drupal Mumbai Community activities and participate in all decision in planning and executing community activities. We will discuss on nomination process and process for inducting members to leadership board, their roles and responsibilities. We are looking to induct member for following roles -

1. Strategy and Planning Lead - Responsible for planning the activities, and strategy to take Drupal Community ahead.

2. Communication and Outreach lead - Publishing information on GDO / Meetups / Sending Newsletter / reaching out to members

3. Treasurer - Responsible for Finance management

4. Social media Manager - Responsible for formulating the social media strategy and executing

5. Code Sprint Lead - Responsible for conducting code sprint

6. Web and infrastructure lead - Responsible for managing all web assets and website
