Mini Movie Workshop

Title: "MINI MOVIE WORKSHOP"

Learn by doing. Rotate through every position on the set in a live shooting environment! We will shoot a short scene several times. Each person will rotate through various positions on the set, including Director, 1st AD, Script Supervisor, Boom Operator, Sound Mixer, Director of Photography, Gaffer, 1st & 2nd ACs, Production Designer, Actor, and more as time permits. Instructors will coach you on the basics of each position, but then you’ll do it immediately in a live scene. There is no faster way to learn how to make a movie, including learning basic the equipment. We’ll even edit the footage down and share it with all the attendees later!

By the end of this class, you’ll know how to:

Perform most of the basic duties on the set and understand basic set protocol. Understand how the production process works and what parts of it you want to learn more about. See a short film that you helped to make! Instructor: Chris Reneau
