Drawing fractals and trees with a functional first programming language

Joint event!!! WWC Dublin and Functional Kats proudly present....
In this fun hands on session, hosts Andrea Magnorsky and Ross McKinlay will take you through the process of fractal generation with L-Systems. This will involve playing with a renderer, along with recursively generating various L-System strings that are fed into a LOGO interpreter to produce a wide variety of cool images!
Please come with a laptop with F# installed (yes it runs on mac, windows, etc)

Instructions for installing F# on mac (simplest setup)
$> brew install mono, and then install visual studio code (it works with emacs + fsharp-mode and AFAIK all other common editors supported but I haven't personally tried this)
Instructions for installing F# on windows (simplest setup)
Install visual studio community edition
