Zinfandel (Red) tasting

Hello wine tasters,

We have another great tasting event coming up later in April, and the featured wine is one of my favorites. Lyn and Ian are hosting a wine tasting of red Zinfandel wines. Zinfandel, aka "Zin" is a wine identified closely with California, but which supposedly originated from a grape from either Italy or coastal Croatia (I believe this is still debated; if I'm wrong, you can let me know at the tasting). In any case, in my opinion, with its American terroir, it rocks.

So join us, Saturday April 24th from 7:30 to 10:30-ish. I'll send out directions later, but Lyn and Ian live in northwest Austin, around the area of Lakeline Mall. Bring a bottle of Zin, and an appetizer (and/or dessert, if you can figure one out that complements Zin) to go with. Sometime around the beginning, I'll give a bit of an intro to the wine, and for any newbies, I'll provide an intro to tasting. I encourage Zin fans to join us and contribute to both the educational experience and the fun!

**Quick request/new policy: Please don't RSVP Yes unless you are 90% sure you'll be attending. These types of meet-up events will have waiting lists, so you don't need to rush to reserve a place. RSVP Yes if you would like to attend, and plan to do so. If you aren't sure about your plans, just wait until you are to RSVP.
