Chinese Grand Prix

As a courtesy to our hosts at Dao Fusion, it is customary to order dinner or at least a drink. Your meetup hosts would appreciate first time attendees making a one-time contribution of $5 to defray Meetup costs.

Interesting item: Old vs. new. Latest Road and Track took a 1967 Lotus 49 F1 car and a 2012 Corvette ZR1 to Circuit of the Americas. The Lotus may be older than some of you reading this and had old, hard, treaded tires.

Lap time Results: ZR1: 2:20.65; Lotus: 2:17.51.

I guess Colin Chapman was on to something.

For comparison, lap record set at the 1st US GP last year at this track: 1:39.347, by Vettel.
