2019 FIRST Launch Party

Everyone is invited to Renaissance Jax's FIRST®️ LEGO®️ League Jr. BOOMTOWN BUILD℠ and or FIRST®️ LEGO®️ League CITY SHAPER℠ Season Kickoff!

Are you a coach, assistant coach, teacher, parent, or team member on a FIRST LEGO League team or FIRST LEGO League Jr. this year? Join us for the Northeast Florida Kickoff of this season’s BOOMTOWN BUILD and CITY SHAPER challenges and bring your friends that are curious about FIRST LEGO League Jr. or FIRST LEGO League.

FIRST LEGO League Jr. teams will get hands-on play with the BOOMTOWN BUILD Inspire Set, and learn how to use WeDo 2.0.

FIRST LEGO League teams will see the new CITY SHAPER Robot Game mat, mission models, and scoring walkthrough. We'll also dive into the changes coming this year with judging rubrics and rooms, resource documents, and more. Stay tuned in the coming days for workshop information!

Workshops will be held for Rookie Coaches, team fundraising, volunteer information, EV3 Python Programming, and more. Parents, mentors, coaches, and more are encouraged to pre-register at https://2019firstlaunch.eventbrite.com.

We'll also have T-Shirts, Stickers, Buttons...and more.

Hemming Park is hosting the College Colors Food Truck Takeover (https://www.facebook.com/events/351940518859939/), so you'll have plenty of options to choose from for lunch.
