As a seasoned spiritual traveller who has taken groups to Egypt over many years, I am thrilled to invite you to join us (Vads and I are your hosts) on a remarkable 10-night trip to Egypt in November this year, where we will explore the captivating wonders of this ancient land.
Our journey will begin in the enchanting city of Luxor, known as the world's greatest open-air museum. Here, we will immerse ourselves in the rich history and awe-inspiring architecture of the Karnak and Luxor Temples, which have stood the test of time for thousands of years (~2,500BC). We will have the incredible opportunity to explore the fascinating Valley of the Kings and visit the awe-inspiring Abu Simbel. The Valley of the Kings is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is home to the tombs of many pharaohs, including the famous Tutankhamun. Prepare to be transported back in time as we wander through the colossal statues, towering obelisks, and intricately carved hieroglyphs.
Next, we will embark on a breathtaking cruise down the majestic Nile River to Aswan. Along the way, we will witness the ever-changing landscapes, passing by lush green fields, traditional villages, and visit ancient temples that dot the riverbanks. Our luxurious cruise ship will provide a comfortable and scenic journey, allowing us to relax and soak in the beauty of this iconic waterway.
In Aswan, we will have the opportunity to explore the iconic Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, and marvel at the engineering marvel that is the High Dam. Going further south to Abu Simbel, which is known for its magnificent temples carved into the mountainside, dedicated to the pharaoh Ramses II and his queen Nefertari. These sites are truly a testament to the rich history and grandeur of ancient Egypt, and I guarantee that they will leave you in awe.
No trip to Egypt would be complete without a visit to the legendary pyramids in Giza. Prepare to be awestruck as we stand before the Great Pyramid of Giza, the last remaining wonder of the ancient world. We will also have the chance to explore the enigmatic Sphinx, a symbol of ancient Egyptian civilization.
During our expedition, not only will we be accompanied by experienced guides, but I will also have the ability to access information about your potential Egyptian past lives and what they may have entailed.
