The UK MET Office says that by 2100 – 80 years into the future, sea levels in parts of the UK could rise by up to 70cm in a ‘low emissions scenario’, and by up to 120cm in a ‘high emissions scenario’. Climate change is poised to have a significant impact on the financial services sector moving forward. Over the next couple of years, the regulator will be giving special attention to climate change risks and how we measure, disclose, mitigate and embed those across organisations.

The government plans to make Britain a net-zero-carbon country by 2050 and, as a result, we will all have to make changes to the way we live and work. But how exactly could this impact your business in terms of both performance and profitability?

We will be discussing this topic with an exceptional panel of leading experts that cover Insurance, Banking, Academic Bodies, and Science to explore what changes we can expect, and how this might impact us all.
