February WordLab - Carl Corder

Details
Greetings, Word Scientists!
With February almost here, it's time to get back into our normal swing of things with our first traditional WordLab of the year. For this month's workshop, we'll be welcoming a fellow Hoosier, Carl Corder, to offer up a reading and lead us in our experiment. Here's a bit about Carl:
Carl Corder was raised in Clermont, Indiana and earned a BA in English from the University of Indianapolis. He earned his MFA in Fiction at the University of Montana where he taught Composition and Fiction, acted as fiction editor for Cutbank Literary Magazine, and now serves as the Writing Assessment Project Coordinator. Keeping close ties with Indianapolis, he is also a project writer for Metonymy Media.
Carl is currently at work on a connected series of short stories based in and around the limestone quarries of southern Indiana, where men and women spend their lives digging into the stone beneath, and feral children watch from the mouths of forgotten caves.
Since Carl is still a resident of Montana, we'll be having our first-ever SUPER FUTURISTIC DIGITAL WORDLAB EXTRAVAGANZA, which means Carl will be calling in via Google Hangouts to lead us via voice call.
Bring your friends, bring your pens, bring a pad of paper. It's going to be a WordLab to remember!
