What is DevOps?

DevOps is a new and evolving methodology which attempts to bridge the gap between Software Development and IT Operations.

But what does this mean? What areas does DevOps cover, and what are some of the practical implications of a DevOps within an organization?

At our first meetup, we hope to explore what DevOps is, and what it means both to organizations and those working in a DevOps role.
