Saturday Startup Club: New Year Edition

Spent your Christmas break thinking about your next big venture? Got a New Years Resolution to actually put your ideas into action? Not sure where to start? Want feedback from the community?

For the New Year we are trying a new take on the Saturday Startup Club workshops of the past.

For each new participant, we will complete a Business Model Canvas of their startup idea and come up with an action plan of objectives that can be completed in the next month that will help move them along towards their goal of actually launching a viable business and a month later we'll meet to share how we got on (or didn't) work on a new iterations.

These are practical sessions and you must have a project of your own to work on as well as a willingness to give input on everyone elses ideas. Unlike past Saturday Startup Clubs where we've been more democratic about idea selection, this time we are structuring it for people who have a firm idea already in motion and want to motivate themselves to move it forward by committing to moving forward in front of the group.

We'll have 30 to 45 minutes to focus on each participants project, depending on numbers which are very limited for this first session, but future sessions might have increased capacity depending on how things evolve.

There is a small charge for attending, which goes to cover printing large scale Business Model Canvas, meetup.com costs, and helps make sure there is a bit more commitment to turning up which helps with the limited numbers.
