Simon Nynens is chairman and chief executive officer of Wayside Technology Group, Inc., a company he joined in 1998. Prior to these posts, Mr. Nynens held various other positions at Wayside, including executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief operating officer. Wayside Technology Group is a unified and integrated technology company providing computing products and solutions to corporate IT organizations, government agencies and educational institutions directly and through computer reseller networks.
A mentor of technology entrepreneurs throughout New Jersey, Mr. Nynens shares his own experiences to help business founders avoid some of the pitfalls he encountered. For these efforts, and for his dedication to the industry, Mr. Nynens received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2011 New Jersey Award in the Technology Services category and the 2012 Public Company CEO of the Year Award from the New Jersey Technology Council, where he currently serves on the board.
