Indy Elixir Meetup

Join us March 6 at 6pm to learn and share with others about Elixir! We'll have pizza, talks, and give away 2 (now 3!) Elixir ebooks from Manning Publications!

We'll kick things off with an open mic for lightning talks. With Elixir 1.6 just released (https://elixir-lang.org/blog/2018/01/17/elixir-v1-6-0-released/), maybe you'd like to check out one of the new features and share it with the group? Or talk about something else you're working on?

Then we'll work together or in small groups on some of the Exercism.io exercises for Elixir: http://exercism.io/languages/elixir/about If you haven't written Elixir before, this is a great way to get started. And even if you have, these exercises are a great way to refresh your knowledge of the standard library (and practice some of the new formatting changes from 1.6). And if you'd rather hack on something else, that's cool too!
