Game Jam - August 2nd, 2014
Game Jam Theme to be announced at event. Game Lab will be available for on-going projects. Beginners welcome.
There will be pizza, donuts, sodas and water. Please bring a bag of chips to share and a few dollars for pizza plus anything else you might want to drink (BYOB).
** We need an accurate head count for ordering pizza. RSVP if you will attend. **
Download a copy of the latest version of Unity (free) on your laptop so we are all working with the same version. Download SourceTree (free) and make sure you have a github account set up before you arrive. (It is very important to have this file sharing resource)
Remember to eat lunch before you arrive, bring something to drink, download all the files you need and get ready to have some fun designing games...

BEGINNERS: If you are new to Unity3D, please take the time to go through some of the tutorials found on YouTube and at the main Unity3D website:
There is a lot you can learn by downloading the free software, watching beginner videos, and playing around in Unity. The more you know before you arrive, the more you will get out of the event.
Beginners are welcome, but pleases understand that this is not a college computer lab and you need to bring a laptop if you want hands on experience.
Parking - You can park in the driveway or on the street near my house. I park on the street occasionally and have never had a problem. There is also an office building with an open parking lot less than a block away if you are not comfortable parking on the street. But of course, I assume no responsibility for any tickets or towing and you should look into it further yourself if you are concerned about it.
