We are delighted to announce our first ABOOF event. We'll have a mixture of Ethereum based technical talks, ICO info and startup's presenting from; Berlin, US and London. Doors open at 6:30pm for drinks and chatter. Pizza will arrive at 6:45pm and the talks will kick off at 7pm. The talks will last for 1 hour. Then there will be a chance to network with alcohol and soft drinks provided. 1) Josh Mciver CEO, Uledger Entrepreneurial with a strong background in technology startups and related strategic planning and execution. Prior experience and expertise includes big4 consulting firm, business development, deal sourcing, financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, marketing, investor relations and putting together great startup teams.
2) Mark Lurie Co-Founder of Codex Protocol (codexprotocol.com) previously founded and sold Lofty.com, a venture-backed, expert-reviewed online marketplace for art and collectibles. Prior to Lofty, Mark worked in venture capital as an investor at FJLabs and at Bessemer Venture Partners, where his investments included Twilio (TWLO). Mark has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Harvard College, where he studied economics.
3) Luke Shipley, Co-Founder of R_Block. "R_Block have developed a classic blockchain trust protocol. Proof of work history & credibility enables a person to have validated references the worker can own. A very valuable piece of data that is extremely time-consuming to gather has been made simple and scalable." Will be giving a live demo of the R_Block platform running on the Ethereum testnet. https://rblock.co.
4) Alex Apeldoorn, Blockchain & ICO Consultant. With a master engineer and Robotics Alex had been on the forefront of technological advancements for over a decade. Ranging from industrial ethernet to wireless power, IoT and now also blockchain technology. With his key understanding of how markets grow and move he will give a trend forecast of the utility of the blockchain technology.
5) Violet Lim, https://viola.ai/ Violet first Asian to be certified by the Matchmaking Institute in New York City, she has gained tremendous insight into the dating and matchmaking industry and is the pioneer in her field. She has appeared in over 2500 media coverages in top magazines, television and radio, and featured in local and international media such as The Straits Times, ABC News 20|20, CNBC Asia, BBC, Bloomberg and Radio Australia.
