I’m super excited to share something new I’ve been working on: hosting singles events!
Why? Let me tell you my story 🙂
Earlier last year, I gave dating apps a shot. For two months in spring 2024, I poured time into creating a profile, swiping, messaging, and even meeting someone (just one!). He was great — but it didn’t work out.
After that experience, I realized apps just aren’t for me. I’m old-school. I believe in real-life connection — the kind you feel when you meet someone naturally, with no pressure or profile photos.
That got me thinking…What if I created events where singles could meet in a more natural, fun, low-pressure way? Not another speed dating night, but something genuinely enjoyable — where you leave feeling energized, not drained.
While I was still dreaming this up, I met Madisen Rose (Mattie)! Totally organically — we just started chatting outside a venue one night. Turns out, she had hosted a few singles events around town! I offered to help promote her next one, and together we pulled it off: almost 100 showed up — and it was an amazing night.
So now, we’re doing it again! 🎉
