What we're about

This is a monthly book club for those who are interested in talking about books, socializing and meeting new people. If you would like to read those books that you feel you ought to have read but have never gotten around to it, then this is the group for you.
The books don’t have to be all be classics (this is the focus however) but what we read should be somewhat intelligent and thought provoking selections. This can include everything from current events and public policy to history, science, and literature and the occasional play, graphic novel, or collection of poems. The intention is for our book discussions to be casual conversation starters leading onto thought provoking debate /dialogue.

Rules of book club:

• Don’t talk about the book club (duh)

• Disagreement and debate are strongly encouraged. Respect is mandatory however. Make every effort not to interrupt each other. Ultimately, this group is about conversations to broaden minds, share ideas and have a good time.

• Please RSVP and let the group know as soon as possible if you will not be able to make the meeting.
