What we're about

A11y Princeton meetups explore topics relevant to digital accessibility, inclusive design and assistive technology, and are meant to share knowledge and build community.

The group is organized by Princeton University in partnership with the Educational Testing Services (ETS) and Rutgers University.

Events are open to the public; anyone interested in exploring or advancing the field should feel welcome to join us. To request an accommodation to participate in a meetup event, please email accessibility@princeton.edu.

Common roles among members include:

• Practitioners and professionals in the accessibility space

• Designers, developers and technology service providers

• Advocates for people with disabilities

• People interested in providing fair and inclusive experiences

You can find resources from previous sessions (such as slides, recordings, links from chat, etc.) at A11yPrinceton Resources (http://go.rutgers.edu/a11ymeetup)

WAS Series: Deque Course Quiz Review (1 of 3)

Online event

Part of our series on topics that align with the IAAP’s Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification curriculum offered by Deque University.

The quiz review sessions are for those taking Deque's WAS Certification Preparation course, who would like to review the quizzes as a study aid. In each session we will go through the quizzes for several lessons in the course.

The WAS is a technical-level credential for front-end developers and accessibility professionals, covering the skills and tools needed to evaluate accessibility according to published guidelines, and to then provide detailed recommendations for remediation.

Access to the Deque IAAP WAS Certification Preparation Curriculum is available at https://dequeuniversity.com/curriculum/packages/iaap-was/
