Swift Development Tips with Speculid and Try!Swift NYC
NOTE: Arbormoon has moved, and the meeting will be at 120 E Huron! Starting at 6:30pm, we'll have free food sponsored by Instabug (http://www.instabug.com). Please RSVP to help us estimate how much food we need. While you are enjoying the food, talk with other developers and network in the local Cocoa community. Our main meeting will start at 7pm and will feature a talk by Leo Dion. Leo will share some thoughts on the challenges in building Speculid, such as using C++ libraries in a Swift app, continuous integration (Travis-Ci) and more. He'll also be freshly back from TrySwift in NYC and will share some of his observations on the Swift community. Leo Dion is President and Lead Developer at BrightDigit. BrightDigit specializes in development in the Apple space: iOS, macOS, and watchOS. He lives in Lansing MI with his wife Betsy and 5 kids and currently run two podcasts: empowerapps.show on Apple stuff and businesses and okproductive.com a productivity podcast for non-perfectionists.

What we're about

Welcome to the Ann Arbor chapter of CocoaHeads, the international cocoa club! This meetup is for those around Southeast Michigan who are interested in learning about developing for the Apple ecosystem: iOS app development, the Swift programming language, macOS, tvOS, and other related topics.

Mission & Values of the Community

This group's mission is to connect Apple fanatics with each other and professional opportunities. We aspire toward world-class expertise in developing applications for Apple products. To achieve our mission, we value contribution, collaboration, professionalism, positivity, inclusion, and trust between members.

Newbies & Experts Welcome

Whether you're brand new to the language or have quite a bit of practice in Swift & Cocoa, you are welcome to become a CocoaHead. Come meet other developers using the language, and see what folks in the community are building.
